  • Absolutely not!! Without religion, there is nothing.
  • Well, the obvious answer for an atheist/agnostic (me) is yes. However I will say NO. The reason being I see no reason why we should stop people from believing what they choose to believe. What we do need to stop is the hatred religion brings about within communities. Stop hating people because of their religion! Yes talk and discuss it, but do not attack anyone because of their choice of beliefs.
  • Absolutely not. We all should have the freedom to believe what we wish to believe whether we choose it to be religion or not.
  • NO. It should not be abolished, but rather, tolerated. If it's not your thing, you can ignore it and be tolerant. No one is asking you to accept something that you do not believe. However, religion is necessary and helpfulfor those who DO believe.
  • No. Religion in and of itself is perfectly fine. If people start killing, harming or oppressing others for religious reasons, stop them. Otherwise, they can believe whatever they want.
  • No. There should be religion. Those who don't believe in it can be Atheists.
  • No. Politicians should be abolished.
  • The question asker does not respect my rights and beliefs, therefore we shall kidnap, duct tape his appendages, seal his lips, and baptize him in front of his young and impressionable children! OH THE HORROR!
  • I have no problem with religion per se... people can believe whatever they want to, but when people make laws based on a specific religion, i think that should stop because it is forcing people into following the rules of a faith that they don't have... Also religion is dangerous, but necessary... blind faith/unquestioning obedience is more dangerous though, and the most dangerous thing in the entire world is money! If anything needs to be abolished it is the entire system. Sorry... got a little carried away... :)
  • Nope!!!!!
  • No of course not. I am not in favour on any particular religion being in control of a government nor am I in favour of legislating just because it is in a particular relgion's creed. Ideas we can discuss rationally, based on the merits of the idea as an idea and come to a consensus. What I personally don't like is when the argument boils down to "this is god's will" as this is impossible to prove and is an unnecessary restriction of freedom. But everyone should be free to follow or not follow whatever religion as they see fit without having the right to impose that religious view on anyone else through legislation or otherwise.
  • from private use, no. From public yes(more or less anything political) decisions made by public office, should be void of any religious belief. Proslytising should be made illegal, if someone wishes to join a religion, they can go to that church, but the door to door, and contstant bombardment is irritaing. If people wanted to hear the word of "god" they would ask to, or go to a church.
  • Religion should not be negated, but maybe be put aside from political standpoints. Acceptance is key to coexist with one another.
  • no..this would never happen...
  • Good luck with that one.
  • YES. IT IS NOTHING BUT TALK IF WE DIDN'T HAVE ALL THESE STUPID RELIGIONS THEN WE WON'T HAVE ALL THESE WARS.
