I think it's good, within reason - holding hands or hugs, sure, tonsil hockey, not so much.

I always think showing that you like someone is good for anyone. They shouldn't have to guess and other people should see that you love each other and care for one another. I hate seeing a couple who don't even seem to like each other, never touching. It seems so cold and unfeeling. I don't want to see tongue swapping or a group grope, just a touch here and there, holding hands occasionally and maybe a quick kiss in surprise or appreciation for each other.

There are two types of affection..one to be seen in public and one to remain private. I, personally, like to hold hands and kiss in public or around my family, but it's rediculous to see the way somepeople grope and try to eat each other in public. GET A ROOM!

Showing or telling someone how you feel is always good. I am not suggesting feeling them up during Easter dinner, but affection is usually always welcomed. At least by me. I can't speak for everyone. I know folks that are not big on showing or telling how they feel.
