No, to put it simply.

Only if I am watching a movie which is better viewed in the dark.

I would venture to guess that we will have our weekly hour blackout then. I've gotten accustomed to it. It means I can't get online at home, so, if I am ambitious, I can go to an Internet cafe in a neighboring district.

Well, what hour is Earth hour?

It's a common practice at our home to keep lights off in all rooms not in use. We don't leave any appliances or electronics ON, when not in use. We've also taken to the habit of unplugging things from the socket. We don't just turn the power strips off. I didn't even know this was going on until I went to Google tonight. They are blacked out, so to speak. Yes, we will observe this and go the extra mile to unplug the larger appliances for that hour.

Am I too late? If not, I'd be more than happy to!!

Nope and I don't leave unnecessary lights on.

Yes, I plan to. The date for this year is March 28,2009 and the Global Earth Hour Event is scheduled for lights to be out from 8:30pm to 9:00pm. I have plenty of time to get ready with my battery operated radio, candles, my cell phone, and maybe build a fire in my fireplace! It's plenty cold for a fire!
