I believe that people do practice it, but I don't know if it actually does anything. If it does, the closest effects I'm guessing is the aspect of psychological attribution in the face of unknown reaction, emotion, behaviour and desire. But I don't think you can make someone fall in love with you by mixing a lock of their hair with some nuts and chanting over it.

i believe in the power of the mind, the placebo effect, stigmata, posession. i believe that its all people psyching themselves out, it really is incredible how much your brain can have an effect on things but i dont think its magic or witchcraft for a second

Yes I do, and witchcraft has nothing to do with any religion. It is neither light nor dark, it is only the intent of the individual using it that is light or dark.

Only if you beleive in it yourself. Witches use ways of getting into peoples minds. Despite some of their tricks being clever if you close your energy links with them and do not welcome any unknown entities you will be fine. We can all have strange feelings but many come from inside ourselves. A shrewd mind can recognise intentions of witchcraft.

Im a practicing Witch of 4 years. No you cant make someone fall in love with you because a little something called freewill, everyone has it and you cant change that. Love spells arnt about controlling and forcing they are to bring positive energy and focus yourself on bringing your desire for love to you. While the show Charmed is enjoyable as is the movie The Craft, they are not real at all. Witchcraft is not a religion, Wicca is. No they are not the same thing, while they have many similar aspects they are different. Wicca is an organized religion with a set of organized rules. Witchcraft is just that a craft and you can be of any religion and still practice it. Its about being in harmony with nature, working with nature to achieve goals, not manipulating nature to your will. Witches commonly practice magic with herbs, candles oils spells or prayers , meditation ect. Sorry no bibadee bobidee boo here nor trains to Hogwarts.

It's an observable practise. Of course it is real. Whether it is effective as a means of manipulating events or people doesn't affect the fact that it exists.
