If you have the manual it gives the general idea, and good step by step with photos: Get a free PDF version at buick.com by registering with their Owner's Center: In the 2001 model (should be similar for the 03) you need to remove the rear carpeting that is attached along the panel inside the trunk. Then remove the 7 screws that attach this to the rear trunk of the vehicle and the tail light. Pull the cover gently loose once that is complete, you can see and remove the bulb housing which turns and locks into the housing of the tail lamp assembly. Remove, and replace bulb test that it is working properly then re-assemble.
