  • Because: When the planet heats up, some ocean currents will shift, which will no longer keep some areas warm (think coastal areas like the UK and California). That's why "human-induced climate change" is a much better term, that covers the extremes that we are causing in BOTH directions.
  • Global Warming is a poor choice of a name for what is happening...the world is not necessarily going to feel like it is getting hotter..but the climate will become unstable and actually colder and drier in some areas..the traditional weather patterns are being disrupted.
