I've never heard of a blood clot for a tragus piercing. The actual piercing goes through mostly cartilage, there's only a thin layer of skin on each side of it, which is why there's so little bleeding if the piercer is experienced and makes sure they do it will as little trauma as possible. Good luck, ask your local piercer for their opinion.
