It is a myth that fruit and Veggies are good for all people. Some people naturally avoid them, because when they were small, they felt awful after eating them, because they are sensitive to the aspirin-like chemicals (salicylates and/or amines ) in them that makes Fruit and Veg so good for other people. Try eating low salicylate fruit and veg, like green beans, peeled old potatoes, peeled pears and you won't feel so bad afterwards. Pork has amines in it, so try the other meats on their own, without veggies, and see how you feel. Many people follow the 'failsafe' diet. Healthwise, I'd take a multi vitamin at least, without added chemicals in it, of course.

If you do not eat enough in way of calories, then you will be tired, because your clever body will use what it can get to keep your brain, heart, lungs etc working to keep you alive. There won't be any energy left over for moving around much. If your diet has enough calories, but these are from white bread, soft drink, white flour etc, then you will be tired because these put too much sugar in your blood and your body reacts quickly and drastically to lower your blood sugar, and this makes you feel very tired. The most common remark when people start eating a good diet is 'I have so much energy!' and they feel so much better that they stick to their new way of eating. Fruit and vegetables contain vitamins, which come from the word vitality, meaning life. You die if you don't get certain vitamins, as sailors found out during long sea voyages where dried meat, rum and grains were their only food. The solution to most problems is to realise that you do have a choice, and gratitude. You wouldn't be asking this question if you were from a 2nd or 3rd world country. These people have no choice, they have to eat whatever they can scrounge, and they see daily what not having enough to eat does to people. So, think about how lucky you are to have food available, a great healthy body, a brain that is beginning to question what you are being fed, and the chance to do something about it. Take your power. It is your body, your health and your life. You don't have to eat and live the same way as the others in the house. It is all part of growing up, you make your own decisions about your own life. Decide if you want fruit and veg in your diet and find your own solution on how to achieve that. You can ask that more be brought into the house, or buy them cheaply in tins or as bruised fruit, or locally grown. Good luck!
