  • It's a level based on the number of points you have achieved. Your + ratings given out factor in as well. The rank determines how many points you can up-rate or down-rate questions and answers.
  • It means nothing.

  • Usually just that you have been here longer and amassed more points. It does not have any special priveleges or powers. We are all just users.
  • As you progress in rank, you are given the power to use more points in your rating. That is all, really.
  • As you gain points for asking and answering questions (or moderating), you move up in levels. Your "rank" is your "level". At certain levels, you gain a new, somewhat descriptive, name.
