Well, you could hurt, kill or seriously maim them. However, speaking from personal experience, it is worth the risk!

In the movie industry small pranks far away from the shooting area,are no big deal and are sometimes done to co-workiers.These help in easing the stress level because we work 12 hour days.Pranks are never done on set,for if it disrupts the shooting you would be sent home.

In this day and age, depending on the kind of work you do and the kind of prank, you risk losing clients if they witness the prank; you risk possibly losing your job of course; but you might also face legal charges for damages that might occur or if the company can blame you for other losses; and there's also the remote possibility that the your co-worker might charge you for harassment or damages if they lose their job too.

Why would you? Your co-workers aren't there because they particularly like you, it is just fate that has thrown you together in the same workplace. If you must play pranks, do it to your friends who hopefully will still like you afterwards!

my dad's ex girlfriend had a prank played on her and now she has permanent back problems, they're more than problems, she's had over 16 surgeries on her back. a fellow co worker jerked a chair out from under her as she was sitting down and she hit the floor, which was concrete. she's got more metal in her back than you could imagine.she also cannot bend over, she has to squat down. it's really terrible and she's young, like 40 or something.
