  • That would be gratifying, though I suspect that the Gestapo would simply use it as another excuse to invade the privacy of US citizens that they have no business snooping on. The FBI have been doing it with Verizon and another company already, and they're if anything less gung ho and sinister than the Gestapo, so I wouldn't recommend giving them anymore power than they already have.

  • Spam helps distract the U.S. away from realizing that the Office of Homeland Security is little more than a way for Bush to give his friends billions of taxpayer dollars without requiring them to do any work in return. They'll never ban a distraction, and the more annoying it gets the more distracting it gets.
