There is a problem for me with the word "submissive"...it has only negative connotations. Do you mean you like to be taken advantage of and "walked" all over, or do you mean you are a normal person who believes in give-and-take and sometimes want to have your way and other times you let the other person "win"! ?

I am not someone that likes a submissive, but I have no problem with people that are or do. I have friends that are into the Dom/sub lifestyle, and so know a little. I DO understand. Just don't care for it.

simply put, submissive men are a turn off for me. i like a man. and men are supposed to be strong, powerful and dominant. but i'm sure some ladies like your type.

Normal girls and Women especially..would not take you seriously. However, flaky chicks, and unstable women would approve of you...don't get me wrong, role playing can add, but you sound like a IFC film. Its just going all over the place at times...

i personally would not feel comfortable 'humiliating' my partner in a sexual way or a non sexual way, i think it will leave lasting effects. but my partner (male) is 'submissive' but i dont order him around i ask him to do things, in a nice pleasant way. in a sexual way, he has all the control and thats how i would want it, there would be no way i could degrade him for his or my pleasure, but i have read stories that this is getting more and more common, but in a sexual way not in a day to day living. also i would advise you to read 'the perfect victim' a true story about having a slave, yes the woman is a slave, but i think after reading her story you would change your mind

I don't think there's really such a thing as "ordinary" -- but while I personally am a sub and prefer dominant men, I know there are plenty of girls out there who love submissive guys. I've noticed in your comments that you seem to think something is wrong with you, but there's not -- men being dominant and women submissive is a stereotype, and while I know there are many people this applies to (a stereotype has to have some base to be created off), there are just as many people with whom it doesn't.
