Not at all. In fact, food prices here are not rising at all!

Though food prices are rising, I believe that fuel costs for transportation are affecting my family the most. We are definitely eating out less, as more of our paychecks are going to putting gas in our vehicles. The quality of our meals hasn’t declined as I enjoy cooking good meals.

Prices are going up,way up, here in Vietnam. Those of you who think this thing is only affecting America, guess again. Some of the items on fast food, such as KFC and Pizza Hut (yup, we got 'em), are actually doubling and tripling in price. I wonder if I'll be able to go to California in June if this keeps up.

no, the one thing I will never do is to compromise healthy eating..

No. I've always practiced a "starvation diet".
-
No, I have always been economical.

Not yet, but I cook a lot and there are only 3 of us in our family.

No, but gas prices have. Since there are only certain things I can get in our bigger town and we only go there once a week, I do have to plan differently what we eat and when. I have to be more careful to not get something that could spoil sitting around for later in the week. But during the summer we will have our local produce stand opening and we love shopping there instead or growing our food.

Actually, it's not the cost of food that has changed our eating habits. Mainly, the fact that we've both been on Weight Watchers has. And, the cost of gas is keeping us closer to home.

A bit. I often don't buy the fruit and veggies that I would like because they're too expensive. I eat less meat than I probably should too, because I can't really afford.

I'm probably one of the few that would say that the price of food is actually affecting how much I can fill up my car. According to my calculations, it cost me more to eat than it does to fill up my gas tank. I try not to use the car so much, but I will pull out my bike and use it like my car. The amount of work I do causes me to eat frequently and burning it off quickly, and now that I am riding my bike, I eat something before I get on, and prepare something for while I am on my bike or on the return trip. Overall, the prices would not bother me as much if my appetite adjust for inflation, but as long as I need the fuel, I would make other adjustments.
