I attended two services. In the earlier one, the topic was "The Keeper of the Keys", and discussed Revelation 1 and the person of Jesus. It was a wonderful sermon, which looked at the character of the risen Christ, as depicted in the symbolism of the chapter, and begged people to put their trust in the "Keeper of the Keys of Death and Hades", Jesus Christ. At the second service, my husband preached on 1 Corinthians 15, the historical basis for the resurrection, that it was not just a pious hope or a mass hallucination, but something witnessed by hundreds, whose lives were transformed by it, and went on to transform the Roman Empire by the power of the Spirit of God.

Tbe Ressurection Hope next week it's A Godly View of Sex and Marriage... should I come back and give a report on it?

Actually... it was one of the best I've heard in a while. The church's computer system had been hacked into during singing... and Poof! All the pastor's notes, and video presentation were gone. So he winged it. It became an excellent lesson on the logical application of the Parables set forth by Jesus.

Sounds like the KH and it should be a good talk.
