• A triangle has half the area of a quadrilateral. The quadrilateral in this case has length 14" and width 7", giving an area of the traingle to be 14*7/2 = 49"^2 To get the volume of this prism all one needs to do is multiply the area of the cross section and the depth: 49*6 = 294"^3 Whoever has downrated me can you please give an explanation?
  • It's a box! w * l * h. If you need to round to the nearest tenth you're doing it wrong!
  • Volume is equal to l * h * w
