Even though I use Netscape, I still get pop-ups from Internet Explorer (5). How can I stop this?

This sounds like you have a form of spyware/malware installed on your system from browsing a site that tries to install the malicious applet onto your system... To cleanse any untoward software from your PC, I'd recommend running Lavasoft's Adaware (from www.lavasoft.de ) - this'll pick up any programes that shouldn't be there (along with stuff like tracking cookies, etc), and inform you of any stuff it finds that it thinks shouldn't be there. This'll most probably solve the problem - I'd recommend updating and patching your copy of Internet Explorer to avoid being infected by any possible exploits in the future. :) I'd also recommend updating from Netscape Navigator to Mozilla's Firefox or the entire Mozilla package if you want a more fully-fledged package - Firefox is an excellent update of the Netscape browser, using the same backend rendering engine, so everything looks the same webpage-wise, except the interface is vastly updated. Apologies if you're actually using Moz, but just calling it Netscape - hard to tell. ;)
