Because it doesn't constantly talk about killing people or drugs and has less profanity in it.

The songs had meaning. the songs were something you could relate to, as a special date, a vacation or most anything important in your life, at that time. music today has no meaning....its just...there. Ever wondered why the older songs are being re-corded by todays artists?

Old school rock is the best. The originals always are! They can be happy, the can be sad, they can change and adapt! And it is real rock n roll, not some guy whining!
