Don't you hate that commercials are always way louder than the show they're interrupting?

I do. When commercials come on, I change the channel until it is done.

Yeah, especially late at night. Apparently this is done on purpose for the most evident reasons. How insulting. It's not because it's louder that I'm going to buy some damned TV dinners that make it look like I'll be high class if I eat them.

Yes. I think it's because they expect us to leave the room to get drinks, snacks, take a pee whatever... so you'll still be able to hear the rubbish they churn out even if you're out of the room! I use the mute button on the remote until 'normal service resumes'.

Yeah that's so annoying half the time i change the channel or mute it.

YES I DO!! and the most annoying thing is that a lot of tv companies deny it, how insulting. I do the same as Retro-Rebel I either change channel or turn the sound of until they're over.

yes i get this all the time!! very annoying when your relaxing and the t.v controls are over the other side of the room!!!!

I hate it because I watch TV on my computer with headphones so it can be painful.

yes....it sucks. I keep my remote next to me so I can just hit mute. I hate commercials.

OH MY GOSH I KNOW... its the worst... because its at a decent volume and then its like *NEWSALEBUYMENOW* and you just want to watch your freaking show... esp. when family members then start yelling at you for the TV being too loud... and THEN after you turn it down you have to turn it BACK UP when your show starts... thank God for the mute buttom and DVR...
