  • I think if it's used in a cultural or spiritual setting then it is their own business what they do. Now, I am differentiating that from the people who say they want to do drugs for a religious experience but are just using that as an excuse to get high.
  • If used in the appropriate context, not just for fun or with some guy from California who claims to be a shaman, they do have a positive aspect. They don't get one any closer to awakening of course, that can't be done with any drug and real awakening isn't an altered state, but they can open people's eyes to the fact that reality is not what they often think it is and that we are all connected.
  • If you can only see, feel or hear God when your high then maybe one needs to reconsider his choice of religions.
  • The use of drugs by man to obtain a closer connection with nature has been going on as long as man has been here. I believe people that still use drugs in Rituals should be allowed to continue under the freedom of religion law.
  • The use of drugs(mostly hallucinogenic) by any culture in a ritualistic manner is much safer than the setting of a party or some guys basement. Anyone that wishes to indulge in these experiences should be allowed to do so.
  • I'm a pyschonaut, so I'm obviously very pro-entheogen use.
