What is the misconception, because I've never heard of any. Gay Day at Disneyworld (which I have attended twice with my gay brother), is just a regular day at the park where a large portion of the attendees happen to be gay and are generally more comfortable being publicly open about it. There's really not much to it in my opinion, just your average day at Disney.
