I would actually like to visit services of some other religions, but I'm not really sure how to go about it. I'd hate to offend anyone just to satisfy my curiosity. I don't even think I'd mind them trying to convert me, so long as they didn't get belligerent about it.

I have been in many buildings of other religions. I have attended the funerals of Muslims and Hindus, because I knew the people or was just interested to watch. I have been into Chinese temples. I have debated inside Kingdom Halls (I didn't know I was being taken to the Hall; I thought I was going to someone's house..but it happened) I have no worries about setting foot inside other religions' buildings. Usually they don't try to convert you at a ceremony. It's more likely outside the building that attempts to convert take place.

Only if it's architecturally or artistically interesting.

That would be the ideal situation for me, I like to hear and make a decision in/on my own time.
-
I already do. I like to hear about different religious beliefs, it's very interesting.

Great question. I have, on occasion, had to go into different religious buildings for my work. And to be completely honest with you, I feel very uncomfortable in doing that. Kinda dirty. Kinda like I'm cheating on my God - even though this happens only for work - not worship-related. Sometimes, my conscience bugs me. It's weird to see all the idols and gold leaf all over everything. The money some places spend on the buildings astounds me! But that's another topic for another 'bagger.

I have on a number of occasions. I think that it would be a good experience for everyone to try. You don't have to accept what is being taught. However, just going in and seeing how others worship and learning what they believe can help to build better understanding of these other people and their faiths. I have heard quite a few sermons with which I disagreed. I have also heard quite a few sermon with which I did agree. Some of the preachers were more dynamic than others. There were a few that I think were in it for the glory of the world and for their own personal gain, but most I think were sincere believers trying to lead their flocks back to God. On the whole I liked the experience of visiting other churches.

Been there, done that.

i do it all the time. I'm not a religious person so whenever i find some interesting building i enter it if it's church or a mosque or a sinagogue. I don't enter such a buiding if it's not interesting.

Yea, out of curiosity, that what do they say, and I still am so sure of myself that I won't convert.
-
Not really.
-
No - I have absolutely no interest in any of it (religion)

Yes and I do that. I am fascinated by the way in which we choose to worship. It's amazing the similarities and differences of religions! There is no real pressure if you are up front. Some, but not a problem. :D
