I had the Fox Hunt on my land on one occasion they did not come back. Thier excuse was they were following the hounds.

No, but I was caught hunting on someone's land, when I was a teen, and it was almost "gunfight at the O.K. corral"! There was about 7 or 8 of us quail hunting on a friend's land, (a couple thousand acres). We chased a huge "covey" to a fence line, and they all landed in a big clump of trees, about 200 yards onto the neighbors land. We didn't THINK they'd mind, so we went over and finished hunting. Well, they DID mind, and came driving up in a jeep, with rifles and shotguns. When they levelled the barrels at us, (we out-numbered them by 3), we pointed ours at them, in return. I hollered "WAIT,wait, wait!!", and asked if we could talk? They said we had about 10 seconds to get off their land! My lil brother and one of his hot-headed friends, hollered "shove it up ... ", and I didn't think we would get out without someone being shot! But, to my surprise, THEY backed down! One of them said they were going to go call the sherrif, if we didn't leave, and I got everyone back over on my friends land. Then, I changed my britches!
