  • Take your temperature every day, your body temp will rise slightly during ovulation. I think they sell test kits at drugstores now to track your ovulation. It may be able to detect hormone levels in your urine or something similar.
  • Ovulation typically happens 14 days after the first day of your menstrual cycle. You can use a Basal thermometer to track you basal body temperature (not a normal thermometer). You can buy an OTC kit which is much like a pregnancy test. You take it around the time you should be ovulating and it will tell you when you are close and/or ovulating. You can also check your cervical mucus or fluid - it will thicken and sort of get stretchy around ovulation time. This is the site I used to track ovulation when we were planning to get pregnant. The link specially goes to the page that talks about cervical mucus as, I think, that is the hardest to learn about! http://www.ovulation-calculator.com/cervical-mucus.htm
