  • HELL NO i hate snakes so that is one place i never what to go.
  • I have one in my formal living room. We have a big house & since we are not snotty rich people like the others in our neighborhood, the only need for our Formal Living room is for snakes & a few bearded dragons. I have never been to an actual Snake Farm because they don't have any close to my house.
  • We had an exhibit at one of the local parks and it was quite interesting. They had a Boa that was huge, and a two headed Rattlesnake. As long as they were on the other side of the glass I was fine, when they brought the Boa out and let my daughter pet him I ran like a big ol sissy!lol
  • Yes in Florida.
  • I don't think I've ever been to a snake farm but I did pose with a reticulated baby python that was about 3 feet long. I was in New Delhi, India and some snake charmers let me pose with it for 5 rupees. While I was posing with it a guy on my right opened up a small box. In the periphery of my vision I saw something with a hooded head rise out of the box. I didn't look at it but I knew it was a cobra. I told myself, "Just don't move, maybe that'll fool Cobey (the cobra) into thinking that I'm a statue." That was working until the charmer on my left asked me to release my grip around the python's neck. In the process of doing that I moved. :o The cobra struck my upper right arm. However, I didn't feel any pain. All I felt was the tap of the front of the snake's mouth. I looked at my shirt sleeve and I didn't see any tear in or puncturing of the fabric. I lifted my sleeve and I saw no indication that I had been bitten. I thought, "WTF! I know I'm not Superman so I guess they defanged the cobra." Later on I thought, "Even if Cobey was defanged wouldn't it have left something on my shirt sleeve?" Years later I found out that some snake handlers will suture the snake's mouth closed which was probably the case in what happened to me.
  • No, but my friend keeps snakes as a hobby. He has a DWA (Dangerous Wild Animals) certificate, so he has a boa constrictor - Prince, and two orange snakes (sorry ive forgotten the breed, must ask him later) - Fanta & Tango.
  • Yes, and it was facinating. I love snakes. :)
  • Yes in New Mexico a few years ago.
  • I did have the pleasure of visiting the snake section of a wildlife game farm in Connecticut. I got to hold a boa constrictor which I thought was cool. It felt like a garden hose to me.
  • Just hearing the word 'snake' before 'farm' makes me shiver. Really, really no.
  • are you kidding? i'm DEATHLY afraid of snakes. can't even watch them on tv.
  • If you plant them, I imagine they'd just crawl out of the ground again.
  • Yes, as a child. I was not thrilled. It was hot, smelled bad and they had this deep pit full of snakes with no rail around it. Scared the crap out of me.
  • Is that what they're calling gay bordello's now? No i have not.
