I spent 5 days in icu due to heart failure, several times I saw the monitor flatline and felt myself fading. Have never been so scared, that experience bothers me still and always will. Finally recieved a pacemaker,(but wait, theres more) while installing the leadwire inside the heart the surgeon pierced the heart completely, later found the cause of all my pain, it was the wire clearly visible on the xray. After awhile I was sent home, disabled, could walk maybe a block and then giveout. Began to tire of being an invalid at the age of 44, so I bought a bicycle and tied a bag of tools on it and went around town doing whatever I could. Today I'm working 10-12 hours five days a week.
