I glance over the senders to see if any of those that were marked as spam by my email filter were actually senders that I don't consider to be spammers. If I see any that I don't consider to be junk and that interest me then I read them. After that I delete everything else.

Most of the time, I delete them. If I do read one, it is because I am reading each e-mail as it appeared in my inbox, and one happens to be junk. Then, I delete it from it's proper folder.

I have my junk mail box set to automatically delete after a few days. I do glance through the list of new arrivals almost every day, to see if there is something I want to move to my inbox. I have a couple of watch lists for collectibles I am trying to acquire, and there is no way of knowing who might contact me having one available. So, I need to look at the subject matter. Also, sometimes friends, former classmates, former co-workers, etc. have new email addresses which are not on my safe list. So yes, I glance at the list in my junk mail box, prior to deleting.
