  • no its a glass eye it has no muscles conected to it just fills the hole an keeps you from looking stupid.
  • No it doesnt move, my nephew has a glass eye and it just looks straight ahead (if you know what i mean) they are only cosmetic really.
  • First of all, glass eyes are plastic these days. Some prosthetic eyes move, and some don't. It depends on what caused you to lose your eye, the conditions of the muscles, and how the socket was surgically prepared. After my eye was removed a small insert with a small attachment stud was placed in my eye socket, and the surviving muscles were attached. My prosthetic eye fastens to this, so that it moves with my other eye. The prosthetic eye does not move as much or quite the same way as my real eye, but the cosmetic effect is really very good.
