When sanding hardwood floors what grade sandpaper do you begin with? And what grade do you finish with?

Start with rough, then use medium, then end up using fine. Ask the guy at the hardware store, he'll hook you up. May be just use the medium then the fine, it depends on how messed up your floor is.
