If you're refering to Subway the fast food place, then the only answer to this question is it depends what you eat from there. For example, it would be healthier to have your sandwich made using wholemeal/granary bread as opposed to white, refined bread. Your sandwich would also be healthier if you had a lot of salad on it, but then again, if you get a really high calorie/fat dressing put on the salad, then no, it probably won't be very healthy. Also, the type of meat (if any) you have on your sandwich will determine how healthy the sandwich is. Grilled/roast chicken is often the best bet. If you want the sandwich to be as 'healthy' as it can be, then steer clear of fatty meats, fatty dressings and refined bread. go for grilled chicken, and have a light vinigarette dressing on the salad. So, to get back to your question, it really doe depend what you have from there!

It all depends what you eat. Subway can be super healthy and it can also be super unhealthy. In my minority I work at a subway and discovered the true health values of the food. If you want to be healthy at subway you need to eat Turkey on wheat bread plain...or Ham on wheat bread plain....also other sandwhiches such as the plain chicken, veggie, and roasted chicken breast are also healthy...however many of the sandwhiches, salads, and soup(seasonal product) are very unhealthy with as much as 300 calories from saturated fats....not the most unhealthy food in the world but also not something to start a diet on....anyways all in all subway is better than the other fast food places but still no health shack..hope this helps

I find it healthy. There ARE things there that are not "healthy" but I don't ALWAYS get those things. EVERYTHING in moderation; even moderation.
-
Couldnt be that healthy, have you seen Jared lately?
-
A lot healthier than anything deep fat fried. If you stay away from the sauces that are bad for you. Sweet onion and honey mustard are good.
-
well depends what you get i guess, Lets just say its alot healthier then mcdonalds or kfc. I put letuce, cucumber, onion and tomato on my subway with only one kind of meat, how harmful can it be? yea bread is fatty and meat might be aswell too depends which you take, but its honestly nothing. Unless you go over board, ide rather eat subway for my "healthiness" rather then any other fast food branch. If i feel like i dont care about my weight i eat KFC :P

100%... just look at Jared.

im a nutritionist and i like to eat at subway, but it is not necessarily or automatically healthier than other restaraunts. it depends on what you eat, as it does with every restaraunt. subway is only healthy if you choose bread with whole grains, leave off all the condiments--subway's official website gives calorie counts for each sandwich, but they assume that people are not adding condiments; if you add condiments the calories add up fast!--and pick a sandwich that is not packed with lots and lots of meat. for a low carb solution, try breaking off chunks of the bread and not eating it. now that subway has discontinued its wraps, its meals are carbohydrate-loaded nightmares. unfortunately, if you want to be healthy, you have to order a six-inch sub. there is no way to eat a foot-long sub and have it be healthy. there is too much food in each sandwich, and healthy people should never eat those kinds of servings.
-
It depends on what you order and eat.
-
The Subway is relatively healthy, but I wouldn't recommend living there. Its way too drafty and damp.
-
healthy ppl should never have a foot long ?? i am healthy and i eat them at leats once a week. so i have proved you wrong !!
-
Yes it is what do you guys think. I even think that mcdonalds and tacobell and kfc are also healthy but in moderation for example once in two weeks would do. Just try it and you will not regret!! a way of being healthy and eating tasty. Thank you very much
-
It can be if you eat the right things there.
-
Some of the subs are healthy the main thing to do is make sure you only get <strong>wheat bread<strong> all the other breads are crammed with fat!!!
-
Anywhere you eat can be healthy.. you just have to choose the right things and know what you're getting. www.subway.com and look at their nutrition information.
