Get quotes from many different companies, your actual cost could vary a great deal from company to company and from person to person. Always get full coverage (unless you drive a beater that wouldn't be a loss if it were totalled). Look at increasing your deductable (to what you can afford if there is an accident). I saved almost 15 bucks a month raising my decuctable from 250 to 500.

I've had State Farm for over 25 years and I wouldn't change.

I have AAA in Michigan for 20+ years, and have been very happy. Plus they get you discounts at lots of places.

I have AAA now, but had Progressive for a long time and was very satisfied with the service. Only reason I left is because we got a good house/car insurance bundle through AAA. If not, would still be with Progressive.
