Frogs do it all the time. I believe there is one that can exist up to 20 yrs in dryed up mud and comeback to life.

According to a couple of doctors I've talked to, viruses can do this. They can stay dormant for thousands and thousands of years and stay technically "alive". Supposedly, living specimens of HPV have been found in Egyptian mummies.

There are life forms that can go for extended periods of time without "feeding" ... but eventually everything alive will need to consume something somehow ...
