  • Hmmm for me milk from an animal rather than a human is more acceptable, milk is for babies and thats how i think it should remain, for babies, not for cakes and cooking, thats sick.
  • Probably from all of the in-organic food we eat.
  • I do not find it disgusting to feed a baby breast milk. I nursed all 3 of my children and I think it is what is best for them.
  • well i can't see myself drinking breast milk, it just feels gross. but i actually don't drink cow's milk either. i think it's partially because it's socially and biologically wrong to drink human milk after a certain age. and im not sure about the biological part with a cow but it's obviously socially encouraged so...i guess that's some of the answer at least?
  • It's all just baby food, though human milk is designed just for humans and not other species. I think it's strange that no other species chooses to drink the baby food from any other species, but man. Why do we like to drink baby food for cows and goats? I like to drink it but it's still a strange thought.
  • hmm..well, I find all types of milk repugnant!
  • i've been asking myself that question for years now. i mean we are the only species who drinks the milk from another animal systematically.
  • Repressing awareness about non-human animal products that end up as food is a natural consequence for a society that is uncomfortable with its policies toward animals. Thus, instead of being a bovine udder excretion that nature intended for calves to drink it becomes a substance called dairy that helped Mike Schmidt become a great baseball player. We think that human breast milk is disgusting because we keep the knowledge that it is for human babies in the realm of our consciousness.
