I think it is 10 days but you can call 1 205 733-2740 and asked the Dept of Revenue for sure. In Alabama, tags are a joint State/County license, so the time would be the same all thru the state.

show the bill of sale and the receipt where you have purchased a tag and the judge should drop the ticket
