I am not a big fan of being called, hun or honey, but what really bothers me is being called 'babe', especially by people I don't even know.

I HATE when my husband looks at me and says "mmmmm you are yummmmy" It makes me feel so cheap.

if you are clcose to some one, a pet name is fine, but if you dont know the person, and it is said with a "tone" then any of those words are an insult eg: honey, love, girlie etc.

i dont really worry what term people use it's more how it's said. even the nicest name can be awful if it's used in a condresending tone
