It can do! Once we had hail in England,as big as golf balls, it dented the hood of my car in several places, I guess if one of those hit you on the head it would hurt!

Yeah you've got to duck and weave to avoid them, but it does give you something to put the cats and dogs in! :)

Only if they have large holes in them. We frequently have it " bucketing down over here.
