  • I just tried it for the first time today and it was f*cking nasty. ewwwwwwwwwwwww
  • No, I'm not a fan of corned beef.
  • No. My mother cooked it every St. Patrick's Day. Worst meal of the year.
  • Good quality corned beef, well prepared, is excellent. I'm fortunate that my local pub does it right. They even make corned beef tacos served on a combo flour/corn tortilla with a delicious salsa and a creamy horseradish sauce. It's killer !
  • I'm not really overly fond of it. If I were at someone's house and they were serving it for dinner, I could eat it. I don't care for it enough to make it at home though, even though my husband likes it.
  • I love corned beef, especially on a Rueben. Never heard the St. Patrick's day tradition, but then I'm not Irish.
  • My mom cooked corned beef and potatoes with lettuce on the side rather than cooked with cabbage. I still crave it sometimes!
  • I love good corned beef. It isn't worth it to buy the cheaper cut as it's all fat and shrinks so much. And we make our own corned beef. It takes about 2 weeks total and there is just no comparison to properly made real corned beef. We'll make a boiled dinner with it, and I will cook it in Guinness and a little brown sugar. Or we'll just long cook it for sandwiches like a Reuben.
  • i like corned beef...but it's not something i want ALL the time or anything. you don't HAVE to eat it on st. patricks day, but my family does, and i love it.
