In college I had to write some computer programs in Assembler language. Very difficult for me, drove me crazy trying to debug the errors.

In grade 6 we were assigned to do a book report based on a book about a famous person. I had no idea how to do a book report. I read a book about Queen Victoria and then proceeded to pretty much rehash the book in my report instead of summarizing. I missed the deadline to hand it in and wasn't going to, but my mom made me finish the report. It was 20 pages long (in grade 6!!). I never did submit it, but I am now an AUTHORITY on Queen Victoria and have learned how to summarize ideas. I will never forget that.

Any time I had to make a presentation in front of the class was agony for me! I was very shy and dreaded these occasions, whether in high school or college! Glad that is all in the past! :)

The only thing that comes to mind is having to read "The Grapes of Wrath". I cannot tell you how much I HATE that book. I have read other books I didn't care for, but none so much as that one.

Writing short stories. It took me lots of time just to get one paragraph together.
