It depends on whether I was alone or with somebody else. If I were alone, I'd read or play games on my PDA or cell phone. If I were with somebody else, it depends on who that someone else was...

If I were stuck in an elevator hopefully I or someone would have a cell phone to let others know of our predicament.

Id walk back and forth and screamed from time to time to see if someone will hear me.

it was back before cell phones and i just kept yelling "get me out of this M.f.ing elevator" and they people at the bank got me out pretty quick

Make use of the situation and spend my time either talking to people who might be in the lift with me, or reading, playing a game, etc. depending on what I might have in my purse at the time.

I probably do what everyone would do at some point but would never admit. jump up and down while pushing a floor button to see if I could get it unstuck.

Use my cell phone to call for help. If that didn't work...then I'd do a Mission Impossible and climb out the man whole in the roof and free climb the elevator shaft. :P
