Does anyone have any info on Levi's orange tab mens stretch 520's? Are they vintage?

I was told years ago that the red tab meant that it was not made in the US. The orange tab meant it WAS made in the US. Since then there are silver, black and god knows what color tabs. Here is a link to Levi's site for collectors http://www.levistrauss.com/Heritage/ForTheCollector.aspx
