The last movie I saw in the theater was Independence Day. I have arthritis in my hips and can no longer sit through an entire movie in those seats.
-
I've been to one movie in the last eight years. Before that, a couple of times a month.
-
once a month
-
I have not been since 1985.
-
Almost never, Id rather rent a DVD and watch it with my wife and kid
-
Am doing it less and less, because I refuse to pay $5 or a cup of sweetened water and another $5 for a bucket of stinking & questionable popcorn on top of $10 to see a film. Also, I am growing tired of having to face the prospect of stupid and inconsiderate people making enough noise to be irritating and speaking throughout the film because they don't know how to shut up and are using the event as a way to socialize - and to those people I say "Hey, you... yes, you..yeah that's right...we're talking about you...we can hear you and all your little whispering that you don't think we can hear and also, that stupid giggling at whatever you empty headed people find funny, is also pissing us ALL off - so, S.T.F.U!!... ....and also, turn off those sodding cellphones too. Now,...that feels a little better.
-
Hardly ever. It is expensive!
-
Very Rarely now. With the excesive cost, the crowds, the idiot teenagers getting stupid and loud in the theatre and throwing things, and then on top of it all most of the movies out now are crap, I rather catch them on HBO and don't feel as cheated by how awful the film was, or if I really want to see the movie I'll catch it on DVD. I may catch one or two movies a year now in the theatres and usually it's a matinee.
-
rarely, usually a movie theatre is makeout time LOL
-
if there's a good movie and i happen to be lucky enough to have 15 $$ on me, i'll go. but other than that it's pretty much a never - too much money, not enough time, and never a good day to go w because it's so freakin crowded
-
I haven't been to a movie since the last Harry Potter film. I just don't have time, and I'd rather wait for them to come out on DVD so I can watch from the comfort of my own couch in my PJ's.
-
About once a decade. Last film I saw at theatre was Mr. 3000, before that The Big Lebowski.
-
no in a long time
-
We haven't been to a movie theater since getting PPV & DVDs. Way outpriced!
-
Very rarely now. It's getting too expensive. Last time I went to a movie was in December. I can rent movies for $1 a night now.
-
Never :)
-
I would rather watch a movie at home.
-
About once a month.
-
Very rarely, idiots talking, cell phones going off. $17 for a popcorn. $9 for a coke. It's cheaper to go to a ballgame!
-
I love movies but they just do not make good ones anymore. To pay all that money and be put through all the commercials now, expensive candy and popcorn too. I'll wait for the DVD and sit comfortably in my living room with a 32" flat panel screen and nice sound system.
-
I only go in the summer, to the drive-in. I prefer to go with my son and his family, and our lawn chairs are a lot more comfy to me, and if the kids get restless or sleepy they can go in the back of the pickup or the back seat of the car and go to sleep. And if people are yakking next to us, we can turn up the volume on the car speakers.
-
Every single time there's a movie out I want to see. There's a nice theater near my house that charges $2.50 a person for a new movie.
-
At least once a month.
-
Not very often. I prefer Netflix so I can watch a movie in the comfort of my own home.
-
Once about every year, maybe 2 or 3... If I'm lucky.
-
We haven't been to the theater since we bought our 65" HDTV and surround sound speakers.
-
About every week.
-
Not very often at all. I went twice last year... I took the kids to see Spiderman 3 when it opened, then I went by myself to see Rob Zombie's remake of Halloween. :)
-
I collect movies so I wait for them on disc, I very seldom go to the theater, crowed and yes .... noisy.
-
Once every 3 months, maybe. Movie theatre's are too damned expensive. They are $9 a person!
