Are certain subjects off limits with close friends or are you free to discuss anything?

We discuss anything and everything. I don't think I'd consider someone a close friend if we couldn't, wouldn't, or didn't do so.

There's a lot of things that are off limits to me. I wish I could talk about them to some of my closest friends, which really isn't that many, and every time I try, I always end up directing the subject away or give the lead of conversation to the friend in order to evade what I wanted to say. So yeah, a lot of things are off limits, although I wish I could make it otherwise. :(

Nope, not for me..however discussing politics with Jim's son is offlimits to me because he is so unalterably on one team and I am so unalterably on the other and I am trying to reduce stress in my life..politics is a very stressful interest! :(

With my very close friends, I am willing to discuss anything they want. How much information I am willing to give out though, depends how I feel at the time.

I am fortunate to have friends that I can discuss most things with. Even politics and religion!

I used to have one friend whom I could talk about absulutely anything with. And vise a versa. I say used to cos I now have another new friend. This most recent one I think I will be able to talk with her the same way, Miss ;)
