My bank makes us change at a minimum of every 180 days.

Not nearly often enough, but the ones I use are very strong (random) and unlikely to be broken easily by guesses or dictionary attacks.

The number of times I've changed my passwords is exactly the number of times I have forgotten them. Odd, huh?

my banking passwords are change weekly. The worst thing you need is to make it easier for Identity theft. those who say it will never happen to me will one day feel the wrath of it.. just be safe and have all the protection you can have. if you get a keylogger bug what do you think will happen to you bank account.. About once a month, whenever my paranoia amounts to such an extent that I will scream because I imagine the butterfly effect of what people could do if they discovered such information.

I've never changed my password. I've used the same alphanumeric password for everything on the Web since I first got on in November 1996, when I was 12.
