Sure. Why not? It's not like hoarding points makes my life complete. Points are kind of fun, but I'd never hold onto mine if we had to use our own (like a checking account) to uprate other people's questions and answers. Spread the love!

Of course, if it would help encourage AB users. Why not, we can't spend them for anything else. They won't even let us buy an AB t-shirt or tote-bag with them, which is kind of silly considering the free advertising they would get. I have t-shirts and reusable grocery bags from the other Q & A sites I am on, and they benefit from it.
