  • Depends on who answered. If I recognize a person's name and know they say good things, then I'll read a long answer. Otherwise I check paragraphs 1-2 and if it doesn't hold my attention, I move on.
  • I've posted a few which seem to have been read judging by the comments received :-)
  • Most of the incredibly long ones are just pasted in. Like the doctrinal statements from moosemoose. I don't think I've ever read one all the way through. I tend to get a bit wordy at times, but I try to only post enough to say what I want to say. I am sure there are others who can convey the same information in far fewer words. I really envy those people; they're like poets!
  • Copied and pasted from wikipedia or a dozen online dictionaries. Almost never addressing the question. One even recycled his own answers by using them for a bunch of questions - no they did not fit, he did it anyway.
  • I don't happen to be one of them.........mostly.
  • No...oh no. I know that most people here don't. I am a testament to that fact. My thousands of one line answers getting an embarrassingly high amount of points, even though almost all of them suck horribly and required no thought whatsoever, show that people here are more likely to read something that will take five seconds rather than something that will take five minutes.
  • I'll Be Frank. No.
  • No, I don't, and won't even answer those questions.
  • Yes if the question is particularly interesting, I love the more in depth responses.
