That is about the only way we would get a truly honest politician. Might backfire on female politicians though because they might like it. It would be better to hook it up to their hair.

Sadly, most politicians are so amoral that they've forgotten the difference, and thus this kind of "lie detector" would be totally useless.

No, because anyone desperate enough to pull a publicity stunt like that is probably someone I wouldn't want to be in an elected office.

If he lied, no *ahem* BUSH. If he didn't, consider him elected, but 4 more years until that decision can be made again here in the U.S.
