In the sims 2 collage, how do you become a member of a secret society? Also how do you keep them from dissapering when you place it into a lot?

Okay. The secret societies you refer to are the Greek Houses. First you have to be on some kind of college lot. Then of your sim doesn't have a cell phone you click on a phone. Then you click Greek House. Then you click Join. It then gives you a choice which one. Choose which one you want. Your sim will then call the house and soon after, a group from the house will visit your lot and you will have to a set number of relationship points which is different for each member of the group. If you can do that you succeed and join. If not, you don't get in. If you join the next thing you do is click the phone again. Then click Greek House and then click move to Greek House if you want your sim to live there. If the sim has a cell phone all actions involving clicking the Greek House menu can be acheived by clicking on the sim wanting to join the Greek House. Then if you want to play the Greek House you have to go back to the College Neighborhood and click on it.

Thank you bowlermommy07 for your description about Greek Houses. However, Secret Societies are totally different. The reason that your Secret Societies keep disappearing is because they must remain secret. Maxis has done something so that soon after they are placed, they disappear from neighbourhood view. In order to get your Sim into a Secret Society, they must befriend 3 current members of their University's. To do so, have them go to a community lot on their University. Here they will find Sims wearing some sort of fancy uniforms with a Llama in the corner of the shirt. These are called Llama Jackets. (Sims wearing these are members of the Secret Society.) After befriending them, go back to your Sim's home and wait until nighttime. At some time during the night, a few members will come to take your Sim away. One will find your Sim, handcuff them, and bring them to their waiting limousine. This will take them to the Secret Society lot. This indicates that that Sim is now a member of the Secret Society.
