    No, it isn't right under any circumstances. The USA should not be stooping to that level (nor should anyone else.) Although I might make an exception for neighbors who play loud music after midnight. (just kidding :))

    Everyone. If it is ok to torture any one group of people, you have already removed yourself from the system of values that forbid you from torturing people. I should point out however, that torture is 'not' ok for enemies of the state today; it remains a criminal act and a violation of inherent and -inalienable- human rights.
