Why do so many people insist on going on TV shows to air their dirty laundry and dirty little secrets?

Because they're idiots and attention seekers basically . Those shows make me cringe like nothing else. Havn't they got any pride about themselves ?

I guess it's because we live in a society that is so obsessed with celebrity and so many people are desparete for thier 15 minutes of fame.

Because they get to leave their miserable lives behind even for a moment. They receive airline tickets to the Show, stay in a nice Hotel, and order all the most expensive food from the room service menu. Something they would most likely never be able to afford on their own.

I think it's all fake myself or at least greatly exaggerated.

Because people believe that the money and 15 minutes are more important then the people in their lives that are close to them, that are family, that they have made commitments to.

Very good question i cant understand my self why people would want to go on national TV and sort out their diffrences, i think if you cannot sort it out at home like adults then you never can sort it out, i think also that some people just want to pulicise what there boring little lifves.

You mustn't judge them too hard, being a politician or celebrity isn't easy these days, and sometimes you just have to vent ;)
