  • I say "go Bjork!!!"
  • Go girl go !!!!
  • I try to ignore her. She reminds me of Sinead O'Conner. Sort of outspoken, loud, in your face, gotta make a scene even if it's just a hot-dog stand, hey I haven't been in the papers for a while better start something, kind of people. As for Tibet... what's the issue?
  • I find it hypocritical for her to even be there. If you disagree that much with a government's policies, don't play there. They should have locked her up like they do other dissenters.
  • well if she can bring the worlds attention to what China is doing to Tibet then good on her!...seems no one else is doing jack shit about it ....oh no must not up set China ...
  • Over that last few years, I tend to think Bjork is nothing but a kook anyway. I didn't hear anything about this concert in China. Did she wear that lovely swan dress?
  • Was she trying to be "relevant"(?) I am not a fan of Bjork. Though I may agree with what she said, it was a silly way to say it. You don't accept an invitation to do a concert in any country and then wave a flag of any kind in their face. But, she is certainly not the first "entertainer" to do it. Entertainers should stick to entertainment.
  • I believe entertainers have the right to freedom of speech just as we do. They happen to have a better forum for addessing their issues than most of us do.
  • Hey, we're all entitled to our opinions...not that I disagee with the comments:) Just please don't send troops there to promote democracy. Been there, doing it, and it ain't working.
  • Very controversial, it was. I read it in the news, most of her Chinese fans were very upsetted. What she said offended many people. Yes, the Chinese government did do some bad things and tried to hide/censor it from civilian Chinese people & people in other countries, but at least we are - or at least I am - aware of it. And although the Chinese government treats Tibetans unfairly, Tibet is quite poor and relies on the Chinese government to provide money. Like Someguy said, it's hypocritical for her to even be in China.
  • Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. If you can't say it once in a while then maybe that country has a problem with speech. You don't invite the wolf to guard the hen house and then be surprised that a chicken is missing!
  • I try not to think about Bjork at all.
