  • Uh... isn't "DC" a "door check?" You can't open the Moon, silly.
  • I agree with the lady to a point,(door check) in some campaigns or die character (level of hit dice in a PC) also if playing on the world of Krynn there are 3 moons, so specifics would be hard to come by. Best advice I could give is if playing in the Krynn setting look up the infomation for Solinari, Lunitari, and Nuitari for each moon respectively if you are an epic level campaigner and want to fight some Gods!
  • Gotta be at least 35.
  • I understand this is a joke, however if you wanted a real answer I suppose you could calculate it. The break DC for a 5ftx5ftx5ft section of stone wall is 60. Since 5ft = about 1.5 meters, you could say that the break DC for a 3m cube of stone is double that, so 120. The moon's volume is around 21968000000KM^3... Extrapolating from that, assuming it scales exactly, the DC for a strength check to break the moon would be 14645333333333. If you succeeded on this check, it would effectively destroy the moon, rending it into huge chunks of earth which would likely rain down upon Earth for quite some time.
  • OK. This is a joke, but you guys are making it way too hard. This is actually a question that made a list of 'most ridiculous questions we've been asked' from Wizards.
  • Well, the check for stealing your own pants without yourself noticing is 120, so sometihng slong those lines seems reasonable.
